Fine Sciences

The Fine Sciences exhibition is dedicated to my father and his brother - Josip and Anton Špan, two scientists who in their youth consciously decided not to become artists.

The Fine Sciences project is based on the transfer of typical scientific visualizations - graphs, schemes, simulations, models - into the context of art. The criterion for the choice of scientific schemes is their purely visual quality and it is completely irrelevant what they refer to, relevant are the form of their visualization and the way in which this is transferred into art.

2020/2021

Cloth book binding tape, cardboard sheets, colour, two plastic slide viewers with slides, two video projections with sound.
